16th April 08 - Flowers for Mum

First hing this morning Mum received some beautiful flowers through the post from her good friends Nick and Mary. They must know we're a family of photographers as they were all perfect and very photogenic. As the window fitters were working upstairs I set the tripod up and took over the lounge and took several photos with the new macro lens. I'm really pleased with it and the level of detail is incredible.

Then just before lunch a good friend of the family in the village called round with dinner for us all for tonight. She knew we were all in the thick of it due to the window fitters, plumbers, decorators, Mum being in recovery and me in my cast! It was such a kind gesture and the food was terrific. It's a great feeling having such good friends.

After lunch I went out with Chris and we took a number of 360 panoramas for his business http://www.communityfriend.co.uk/ they came out really well and using some interactive software you had the ability to immerse the viewer in the photo. they will be really useful for the website and for future business. You can see some examples here
