I was reading New Scientist and the BBC Focus magazine today and they were both packed full of the way in which technology is improving our life and how better off we all are for it. I agree, it is responsible for such massive leaps forward for the planet and humanity, I mean we've put men on the moon, begun mapping the human genome, explored almost every inch of the planet, gone higher and faster than ever thought possible...and then I went to put my washing on and wondered why on earth they can't make a washing machine that not only washes your clothes but dries them, irons and folds them then puts them away in the wardrobe. It can't be that hard can it??
